At Rare Gear USA, every piece is carefully curated from authentic vintage military collections. Each item is unique, with its own history, condition, and character. Because of this, our return process is designed to stay simple, fair, and transparent.
Returns & Exchanges
Most items are final sale due to their vintage and one-of-a-kind nature.
If something doesn’t work out, we’re happy to offer:
- Store credit, or
- An exchange (when available)
We do not issue refunds to the original payment method.
Product Details & Fit Guidance
Each item is carefully inspected, photographed, and measured so you can shop with confidence.
We highly recommend reviewing all:
- Product photos
- Listed measurements
- Condition notes
These details are provided to give you a clear understanding of each piece before purchasing, since every item is unique and cannot be restocked.
Return Eligibility
If you still need to make a return, we’re here to help within the following guidelines:
- Requests must be made within 15 days of delivery
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- Original packaging should be included when possible
We simply ask that items are returned in the same condition they were received.
How to Start a Return
To keep everything organized and processed smoothly:
- Email us to request a Return Authorization (RA) number
- Clearly write the RA number on your return package
Once approved, we’ll guide you through the return process.
Store Credit & Exchanges
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll issue:
- Store Credit, or
- An Exchange, depending on availability
Store credit:
- Is issued to your account/email
- Is valid for 12 months
- Can be used on any item in the store
Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- We recommend using tracked shipping, as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages
Order Issues
If something isn’t right with your order, we’ll take care of it quickly.
Please contact us if you received:
- The wrong item
- An item that significantly differs from its description
- Any fulfillment-related issue
We’ll review and resolve these cases as quickly as possible.
Return Address
Once your return is approved, we’ll provide the correct return address.
Please do not send items back without authorization.
