VINTAGE US ARMY COTTON SHIRT M-37 M37 KHAKI 1940'S POST WW2 WITH 9TH INFANTRY DIVISION, 6TH INF HONOR GUARD BERLIN BRIGADE AND CORPORAL 5TH GRADE PATCHES SIZE XS
The 9th Infantry Division "Old Reliables" (patch on the left) is an inactive infantry division of the United States Army. It was created as the 9th Division during World War I, but never deployed overseas. In later years, it would become an important unit of the U.S. Army during World War II and the Vietnam War. It was also activated as a peacetime readiness unit from 1947 to 1962 at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and Fort Carson, Colorado, and from 1972 to 1991 as an active-duty infantry division at Fort Lewis, Washington. Nicknamed the "Old Reliables", the division was eventually inactivated in December 1991.
The Berlin Brigade (patch on the right) was formed at the height of the Berlin Wall crisis. It was created from units already in Berlin by General Orders from the Commander-in-Chief, United States Army, Europe. General Bruce Clarke ordered that from 1 December 1961 the core of the United States military presence in Berlin, the living symbol of America's protection for the people of free Berlin, would be known as the United States Army Berlin Brigade.https://www.raregearusa.com/phttps://www.raregearusa.com/p
